The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls, ages 8 through completion of high school. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines is the focal point for the U.S. Marine Corps' youth Drug Demand Reduction efforts.

Southland Young Marines is always looking for volunteers to join our Registered Adult Staff.
Requirements are: Many volunteers bring skills and experiences that greatly promote our program.

3 Reference Letters
Submission to a Background Check
Applicants with Military Service must supply a 

copy of their DD214 (Miltiary Service not required to volunteer)
Mentorship under the direction of a Registered Adult Staff Member.
No Past Military Experience required but desireable.
